This intentional, joyful, romantic spring wedding at Riverbend Church in Austin, Texas was one for the books!

I am SO excited to share my first wedding of 2026 with all of you! I can think of no sweeter couple to have kicked off my 2026 wedding season. From the moment I first met Tae on our initial inquiry call, I knew that we were going to be a good match, and that this wedding was going to be special.

Riverbend Church in Austin was the perfect venue for Taelor and Mat to say "I do." The day began with a peaceful purpose: the bridal party and groomsmen each laid hands and prayed over the couple before the ceremony, setting the tone for the day and for the rest of their marriage. The ceremony itself was peaceful and full of worship, radiating joy in every sung hymn and every shared promise. Faith is the foundation of Tae and Mat's relationship, and it was only fitting that it was the foundation of the entire wedding day.

The day brought one beautiful surprise after another. At the reception, Taelor and Mat each revealed original songs they had written for each other, turning the room into a living testament to their love story. But what may be the most touching moment came during the ceremony when Mat surprised Tae with her wedding band—one he had chosen entirely on his own, a perfect reflection of how deeply he knows and cherishes her. The heartfelt speeches before the dance floor opened wove together stories of friendship, faith, and the many ways their community has supported them, while personalized notes sat at each table setting to remind every guest how valued they were.

As I photographed their day, I was deeply moved and encouraged in my own faith by the way Taelor and Mat radiate the love of Jesus to each other and to everyone around them. Their wedding was not only a celebration of a marriage begun, but a display of a community committed to covering them in prayer and blessing. I'm profoundly grateful to have been chosen to capture these moments—moments of worship, laughter, holy surprises, and joy that I will carry with me for a long time.
